Relocation & Reinstallation

Shifting a boiler is a dismantling job, a transport job and an erection job that all have to line up. We run it as one project — from a single boiler move to a complete boiler-house or plant relocation — with safe dismantling, transport and permit coordination, and full recommissioning at the new site.

How we execute

  1. Survey

Source and destination sites surveyed — access, foundation, statutory requirements at both ends.

  2. Method statement

Dismantling, transport and re-erection plan issued, including permits and civil interface with your team.

  3. Dismantling & transport

Equipment dismantled with part-tagging, then transported to the new site under the agreed route and permits.

  4. Erection

  5. Recommissioning

Hydrostatic test, IBR re-registration, performance trial and handover with full documentation.

Documentation you receive

Frequently asked

Yes — IBR registration is site-specific. We handle the re-registration process, including the inspection the authority requires before commissioning.

Part-tagging at dismantling, correct packing and bracing, and route survey to avoid load and clearance issues — a photographic record is kept at every stage.

We coordinate transport and heavy-lift logistics through our contractor network — confirm current arrangements with our team for your specific route and load.

Either — a single-unit boiler move and a complete boiler-house relocation (boiler, BOP, utilities, structure together) are both standard scopes; see Boiler House Relocation.

If it's one of several units, yes. For a single-boiler plant, the dismantling window is scheduled against your production shutdown.
